1982 Halloween Party in Jamul with a very skinny Camo Frank. As you can see I was successful in jamming a keyboard song into the set, much to Steve's dismay.

Good News!!! Found the spiked wrist band. Now only the leather vest to go. Hope I don't need to go to Hillcrest to find something like that!
Power Ballad???

Wednesday, December 9, 2009

So as most of you know I quit the cigars two weeks ago in preparation for our upcoming gig, and am limiting the AB and cab to once per week or so. Quite frankly I needed a good excuse anyway. Also on a 5-6 day per week gym schedule, ramped up from my normal 2-3 day. Got to look good in those leopard skin spandex!
Checking out venues-Carlton Oaks CC in Santee, Fanny's in Casa de Oro. Had some Lakeside VFW suggestions but heard that area might promote racial/skinhead problems. Any feedback?

Jim Mills & I "In Concert"

Sanctuary circa 1982 in our Vernon St warehouse in El Cajon. Mark Copeland-vocals, Steve Cox-guitar, Frank Kowalski-guitar, Jim Mills-bass, Mike Lewis-drums.
First band meeting with Sanctuary last Saturday. Came up with a 30 song set list, including some Cult, GnR, ACDC, & Van Halen for our non-metal friends. December song review, January rehearsals, probably the party in February. We're looking for a venue on a Friday or Saturday night that we can throw a semi-private party for 100+ people so any suggestions are welcome. More details upcoming.
